Hippie Hens Homestead is a family-owned bird farm that raises beautiful Sebastopol Geese with gorgeous curly feathers and three colors of emus, including the rare white emu. Located in Central CA, we are committed to responsible raising practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our birds. We take pride in providing our customers with healthy, quality, sustainably raised birds.

Our Story
A Passion for Birds and a Simple Life
At Hippie Hens Homestead, we have a passion for birds. Our journey began when we decided to start raising Emus and Sebastopol Geese in 2022. We went on the search all over California and Oregon to slowly build up our mob and gaggle. We met a lot of amazing people along the way and learned so much. Since then, we have been committed to responsible raising practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our birds. We take pride in providing our customers with quality birds, as well as be a resource to others interested in these breeds. Our goal is to share our passion and joy with you and ensure that you get a chance to own one of these gorgeous and fun birds too!
